In Aichi Prefecture , a 76-year-old former carpenter named Yotsumoto was arrested after allegedly stealing an entire toilet set from a construction site.

Police later discovered the missing unit fully installed — and working perfectly — inside his home.

He had reportedly been using the stolen toilet for nearly three months before officers tracked it down.

When questioned, he didn’t deny it.
Instead, he calmly admitted:
“I have been using the toilet that I stole.”

From construction site to home renovation… just not the legal kind.
