  • Homemade Chili Sauce

    Fiery Homemade Garlic Chili Sauce with a Hint of Sweetness

    Ingredients:

    10–12 fresh red chilies (adjust to heat preference)

    4 cloves garlic, peeled

    1/2 cup white vinegar

    2 tablespoons sugar

    1 teaspoon salt

    2 tablespoons neutral oil (like vegetable or sunflower)

    Optional: 1 small tomato for added body and mildness

    Directions:

    Remove stems from chilies. If you want a milder sauce, remove some or all of the seeds.

    In a blender or food processor, combine chilies, garlic, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Blend until smooth.

    Heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the blended mixture and stir.

    Simmer the sauce for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and the raw smell disappears.

    Taste and adjust salt or sugar as needed.

    Let it cool before transferring to a sterilized jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
