    Hôm nay, ngày 26/5, bà Nguyễn Thị Bình, nguyên Phó Chủ tịch nước, bước sang tuổi 98. Suốt gần một thế kỷ, bà đã sống trọn vẹn vì đất nước, là biểu tượng của bản lĩnh kiên cường, trí tuệ sắc sảo và lòng yêu nước sâu nặng. Bà cũng là người phụ nữ duy nhất tham gia đàm phán 4 bên, đặt bút ký vào bản Hiệp định Paris mang tính lịch sử, thay đổi vận mệnh của đất nước và dân tộc.

    Xin được bày tỏ lòng biết ơn sâu sắc trước những cống hiến lớn lao của bà và kính chúc bà luôn vui khỏe, tiếp tục là nguồn cảm hứng cho các thế hệ mai sau.

    COLOSSAL REUBEN EGG ROLL

    Ingredients:
    6 large egg roll wrappers
    1 cup chopped corned beef
    1/2 cup sauerkraut, well-drained
    1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
    1/4 cup Russian or Thousand Island dressing (plus extra for dipping)
    Oil for frying

    Instructions:
    1️⃣ Mix corned beef, sauerkraut, cheese & dressing in a bowl.
    2️⃣ Place filling in wrappers, roll tightly & seal edges with water.
    3️⃣ Heat oil to 180 °C (350 °F), fry until golden & crispy (about 3–4 min each).
    4️⃣ Drain on paper towels, serve hot with extra dressing.

    Bulgogi (Marinated Beef BBQ)

    Ingredients:
    - 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
    - 1/4 cup soy sauce
    - 2 tbsp sugar
    - 1 tbsp sesame oil

    - 1/2 tsp black pepper
    - 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

    - Rice, for serving

    Preparation Steps:

    Pickled Ginger

    Sweet & Tangy Homemade Pickled Ginger (Gari)

    Ingredients:

    1 cup young ginger, peeled and thinly sliced

    1 teaspoon salt

    1/2 cup rice vinegar

    1/4 cup sugar

    1/4 cup water

    Directions:

    Peel the ginger using a spoon or paring knife and slice it as thin as possible (a mandoline helps!).

    Sprinkle the sliced ginger with salt and let it sit for 30 minutes to draw out moisture.

    Rinse the ginger under cold water and drain well.

    In a small saucepan, combine rice vinegar, sugar, and water. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.

    Place the ginger slices in a clean glass jar. Pour the warm vinegar mixture over the ginger until fully submerged.

    Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then seal the jar and refrigerate.

    Allow the ginger to pickle for at least 24 hours before using. It gets better over a few days!
