Orange cat Trident turned hero when he woke his owners in the middle of the night. His owner, Alana Falk, followed him to the kitchen and found part of the dishwasher melting and filling the house with toxic fumes.

Thanks to his sharp instincts, the family avoided danger — and now he’s honored with a framed photo that reads, “Not all heroes wear capes.”
