Senator Bernie Sanders is proposing a bill which would tax the richest people in America to the total of $4.4 trillion, and a chunk of the money would go to people earning less than $150k.
The money would also be used to reverse the cuts to Medicaid, raise the minimum salary of every public school teacher to $60,000, expand Medicare to cover dental, vision, and hearing for seniors, build $850 billion of affordable housing and provide universal childcare.
