Rich and Tangy Homemade Tomato Ketchup

Ingredients:

1 (6 oz) can tomato paste

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Directions:

In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients and whisk until smooth.

Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened to your liking.

Let the ketchup cool completely, then transfer to a clean jar or bottle.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
