Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 200g reblochon cheese, cut into pieces
- 150g smoked bacon lardons
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 200ml heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Preparation Steps:
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
2. Boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
3. In a skillet, cook the bacon lardons over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft and translucent.
5. In a large baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by half of the onion and bacon mixture.
6. Pour half of the cream over the layers and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
7. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, onion, bacon, and pour the rest of the cream on top.
8. Scatter the reblochon cheese pieces over the top of the dish.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
