Burreaux, a tiny black Labrador mix, arrived at a Louisiana shelter sick with parvovirus. The smallest of his litter, he fought through the illness and recovered with the help of shelter staff.

As he grew stronger, his bright personality and signature toothy “smile” quickly won people over. When the shelter shared his photos online, the adorable grin went viral.

Soon after, a woman named Hollie King adopted him and renamed him Pappy. The puppy who once struggled to survive in a shelter now lives a happy life filled with love and adventures.
