Influencer Jake Paul recently said that political activist Charlie Kirk “would have been the next president” if he had lived.

Speaking with podcast host Theo Von, Paul described Kirk as having a sense of purpose and drive he believed could have propelled him to the White House someday. Paul also reflected on his own interest in politics, noting he’s considered a future run but is hesitant due to safety concerns for public figures.

The U.S. may soon automatically register eligible men for Selective Service.
Currently, men aged 18–25 must register by law, but the proposed change would automate the process using federal data, removing the need for individuals to sign up manually.
Important: This does not mean a draft is happening. The U.S. has maintained an all-volunteer military since 1973. Any actual draft would still require approval from Congress and the president during a national emergency.
In short: registration could be automatic, but a draft is a separate, major decision.
