Japan Airlines is offering free domestic flights to certain international visitors as part of a tourism initiative.

The goal is to encourage travelers to explore beyond Tokyo and Kyoto.
From the snowy landscapes of Hokkaido to the beaches of Okinawa, more of Japan is now within reach.

Dogs might judge people better than we think.

Scientists at Kyoto University found that dogs watch how people treat their owners. In a study, when one person helped the owner and another refused, the dogs later ignored the rude person — even when that person offered them a treat.

Looks like dogs remember who’s kind… and who isn’t.
