Velvety Garlic and Shallot Butter Sauce with Herbs
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 medium shallots, finely chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or thyme
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add chopped shallots and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
Add minced garlic and cook for another 1–2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
Reduce heat to low and add the butter, stirring until melted and combined.
