    Moist Pumpkin Banana Bread Infused with Warm Autumn Spices

    1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 bananas)

    1 cup canned pumpkin purée

    2 large eggs

    ½ cup brown sugar

    ½ cup granulated sugar

    Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

    Directions:

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper if desired.

    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, pumpkin purée, eggs, both sugars, oil, and vanilla until smooth.

    In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt.

    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

    Fold in chopped nuts if using.

    Pinch of red pepper flakes

    Salt, to taste

    Directions:

    To make the chutney, combine apples, onion, ginger, vinegar, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt in a saucepan.
