Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Cheese Bites

Ingredients
12 strips thick-cut bacon
12 jalapeño slices (fresh, with seeds removed for less heat)
1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Fresh parsley or chives (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
2. Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until smooth.
3. Wrap the Bacon
Form small balls of the cheese mixture (about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons each).
Wrap each cheese ball with a strip of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if needed. Place the bacon seam-side down on the baking sheet.
4. Top with Jalapeños
Gently press a jalapeño slice on top of each cheese-stuffed bacon wrap.
5. Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted.
Optional: For extra crispiness, broil for the last 1-2 minutes, keeping an eye on it.
6. Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley or chives for a fresh pop of color. Serve warm and enjoy!
